How it works:
This fest is for fic and art featuring rarepairs from Mo Dao Zu Shi and related canons. It is not a kinkmeme, though kink prompts are welcome. It is also not an exchange; prompting and/or filling does not guarantee that you will receive a gift work in kind.
Prompts are taken on this Dreamwidth post for one week, and fills are allowed for four weeks. All prompts are screened until the Prompt Reveal Date, at which time a master list of prompts by pairing will be made available, along with links to each prompt.
Once prompts have been revealed, you can start creating! You can create for as many prompts as you like. Written works can be of any length, and there are no restrictions on the "completeness" of art. You may choose to post your work in full in the thread for the original prompt or you may post it to the AO3 collection and provide a link as a reply to the prompt.

theladyscribeThere has been interest in a lightning round edition of MDZS/CQL Rarepairs! Dates have not been set yet, but keep an eye out toward the end of February!
The basic set up will be a flash exchange spanning approximately 2 weeks (including signups, writing period, and reveals). No nominations required, but there will be a limited number of requests and an infinite number of offers permitted.
Signups will be conducted through a google form, but posting will be on AO3. Minimum 300 words or a sketch on unlined paper.

1. fem!Nie Mingjue/fem!Nie Huaisang
AU versions of pairings are not permitted as tags (if you want a story with Rule 63 or other alternate versions of characters, please put them in your signup).
